Step One—Awareness
The first step on the road to prosperity resides in mindfulness—in being aware of our current position so that we can genuinely assess whether we want to continue along the path we are on or branch out in new directions. As soon as we make that decision, we are on our way. Step One begins when we know this truth intimately in our heart: All that we devote our awareness to grows and thrives.

Awareness is not a state of mind but a state of being—an attentiveness that begins in the heart and spreads out from there. We live in a world with thousands of distractions. Without awareness, we cannot choose between what will lead us toward prosperity and what will not. To become aware is the first step on the journey home to our self—all that we require lies within each of us, now. Awareness is active, not passive. It is the opposite of absence, scarcity, and lack. Awareness is our primary asset: how we devote or invest our energy determines our quality of life.

Step Two—Responsibility
The ability to choose your response means you are “response-able.” The opposite is to be reactive or disabled. When you take responsibility, you are no longer reactive, compulsive, or attached. You no longer attract or create by default. When you are responsible, you have ultimate leverage. Awareness precedes discovery. Responsibility precedes recovery.

The moment you take responsibility, you recover your spirit, your dignity, your self-respect, your faith, and your self. You now have faith in yourself, and with that, you have faith in others and the process of life. When you take absolute responsibility for yourself, you become the creator of your destiny. You may now “intend” your future according to your wishes and desires. This allows you to organize your thoughts and direct your energies to success.

Step Three—Purpose
First you must decide what you want. Then you can set achievable goals that you believe in—totally. You must picture them in your mind, in detail, as if they are already achieved. In the GlóMotion philosophy, what you “think” is what expands. When you organize your thoughts for a specific purpose, you are manifesting your destiny and taking responsibility for it. You begin to organize your thoughts when you are “available,” “present,” and “aware.”

You “intend” your reality. How you create is through intention. That is how karma, cause and effect, comes into play. On any day, at anytime, you can, in the present moment, take responsibility for how you “intend” and thus create your future.

Step Four—Commitmen
Once you commit to your intentions, you have made an agreement with the divine. It is through commitment that the universe takes us seriously and moves to accommodate us. Our word is sacred. When you give your word, you are not only giving your commitment (to yourself and others), you are connecting to the sacred. You are becoming one with the collective and the sacred in all beings.

You communicate and connect your energy resources with those you interact with through commitment. Commitment is the glue that holds everything together. The moment one commits, Providence moves too. Actions and events are set in motion that would not have happened otherwise.

Step Five—Advancement
Your commitment is expressed through action. Action deepens your commitment and moves you closer to your goals. Your goals and intentions are your navigation system. You adjust your coordinates as required to maintain course and continue to advance. The journey is a process not a destination. Enjoy it.

Taking action activates the forces of nature. Action harnesses your power of manifestation, your power to create, and attracts abundance into your life. You then begin to be of service to humanity. By being of service you become deserving and receptive. This is the cycle of transformation and creation. Invigorate your life and the lives of others with kindness and compassion. Be of ultimate service. Give and receive, unattached and generously.

Step Six—Insight
As you progress through the first five steps, you will begin to see things as they really are. Insights may surface that impact your goals and actions. They should be embraced, not rejected. Embrace opportunities for self-discovery. Don’t suppress, deny, or abandon yourself when faced with a challenge. When you remove obstacles to your creativity and stop constricting and rationing your creative forces, you allow the flow of energetic abundance. Dislodging blocked areas of your life allows you to live fully and enjoy yourself. Don’t resist the resistance.

As you practice your intentions and commitments, you create opportunities to acquire maturity and knowledge. You are cultivating wisdom. As obstacles and challenges arise, you are “available” and “present” to experience. This provides the necessary attention and awareness to resolve constrained energies and to expand. You are practicing nonattachment.

Step Seven—Gratitude
You have arrived. You have “remembered” that you are an enlightened, grateful being. Gratitude and generosity equal true enlightenment. You are enlightened and have always been. The “ego-mind” may have separated you from the source, which is pure light. The journey is, and has always been, to come back to the source . . . back to the light that you are.

Enlightenment is to enjoy being. Being enlightened means you are “the light,” which is the sacred divine essence of creation. You live in the moment, knowing and allowing the light to shine unrestricted upon everything, equally. Once you have remembered and experienced that you are pure divine light, you sparkle and shine upon all and everything. You Glow. You’ve come home to your essence. You are now one with all of creation. You are a creator. You receive and give freely, without attachment. Be grateful. Be gratitude.
